Most of us have been bombarded with diet messages and the latest health trend since we were little girls. We were told to eat low-fat and do cardio.  We exercise – a lot. But we still don’t see the results that we desire. The results that we expect after all the effort. And we’re tired. Exhausted, really. 

If you can relate to this, you’re not alone. Sometimes it feels like all we can do is get through the day. But that’s not enough – you deserve to thrive in life, and have energy. To live happy, and confident.

The reality is that we need a blueprint and a guide. Someone to teach us how to shift our mindset, to use the tools available to us, and to encourage us when we get stuck. Our community is hundreds of women strong – busy women who are prioritizing their health, and cheering each other on.

I’ll be honest with you. I tried everything: running marathons, eating paleo, doing a Whole30, you name it. No matter what I tried, I didn’t see the results I expected from my effort. And then, I became a mom. Life changed for the better, but, I had way less time for myself and struggled with postpartum depression. Between being a wife, a mama to my two girls, and working a demanding job, all I could think about was just getting through the day.

When I learned I could workout at home alongside a positive community of women, I figured it was worth a try. And it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made – not only for my health and my life, but for my family, too.

I have lost the weight. I’m strong in mind and body.  I have an incredible community that supports me daily. But more importantly, my life has changed because the improvements in my physical life have rippled into my personal life and development. I’m now living an intentional, healthy life and model it for my girls and my family.

The best part? I have zero superhero powers – and this can be your reality too.

I was struggling to lose the last of my postpartum weight and felt overwhelmed by life. I had lost track not just of my own physical health, but my mental health while balancing work, a new baby, and my marriage.

 

After joining Mel, I made my way toward my goal weight. But I also started noticing other side effects… more energy, more positivity, and gaining my confidence back. The physical weight loss was great, but I quickly realized it was no longer my measure of success. The way I FELT was my measure of success. And then, after I started coaching alongside Mel, the number of other women I started helping had a huge impact on my life has become a measure of my success.

I’ve been a dancer for most of my life. As a dancer, I’ve always appreciated the beauty and strength of a healthy body. However, I’ve also placed a lot of pressure on myself, associating hours spent training, counting macros and planning workouts with success.  After I had my son, Salvador, I had to learn how to work with my postpartum body, allow myself time for recovery, and find new ways to train while managing my schedule as a working mama. 

 

Since joining Mel’s team, I have made time for work, my baby, my husband, and myself!  I no longer need to count macros and schedule hours at the gym or the studio to get amazing results and feel proud and accomplished. I feel strong both physically and emotionally.
